CSEL - (pronounced CEE-sel) - acronym for Crazy Self-Employed Lady
empty debate - any debate which has little to no chance of changing anyone's minds or hearts; any debate in which the participants' primary goal is to be heard, not to listen; any debate which will go on and on and on, eventually ending in anger, hurt feelings, ruined relationships, and distrust. Also, an enormous time-wasting activity.
professional setting - any setting in which I know I am or will be in contact with my clients, my students, my team. This might entail classes, meetings, trade-related events. This might also entail unexpected meetings in any public place or even planned social events. Once I know I am in the presence of those who are in any professional relationship with me, any setting becomes a professional one.
prospective clients - anyone I know or meet who might, at any time in the near or distant future, be interested in engaging my services; any person who might also have the ability, now or in the future, to engage my services. So ... pretty darn close to everybody.
